Italian born Simona Bassi has had a love for jewellery since she was little, " My mother remembers me at the age of  five roaming around the property digging for stones and collecting them. I remember the first object I bought out of my desire was a pair of earrings, I have always loved jewellery and stones."

Growing up Simona discovered the other big love of her life, travelling.

" Already in my early 20s I started to travel the globe and within a few years I went around the world twice on my own, meeting cultures, colors, art and smiles. Two of my big loves are India and Mexico."

Simona startedmaking jewellery in Guatemala, studying with an argentinean goldsmith before she moved to India and fell in love with antiques and started to work in collaboration with indian and nepali goldsmith.

Inspired by nature and art through the ages, Simona's collections are original and unique, featuring a greaceful fusion of antique and modern.

Every piece she create has a secret side, a stone, a carving or something that is exclusively for the owner of the jewel.
